Boeing Business Jet 2

Price: $55.5 million

A product of the fusion of two high-class companies, Boeing and General Electric, BBJ2 is indeed a mind-blowing aircraft which marks the Number 3 spot. First introduced in the market in 2001, this ultra-long-range business jet boasts of 25% more interior space and two times the baggage space. Its gigantic engines are powered by two General Electric/Snecma (CFMI) CFM56-7. Trips that are 5,750 nautical miles are possible at Mach 0.82. This extravagant jet utilizes nine auxiliary fuel tanks and offers competitive range, speed and operating systems in an equally large package.

Gulfstream G650

Price: $58.5 million

This posh jet accommodates a crew of four, up to eight passengers, and flies 7,000 nautical miles at a long-range cruise speed of Mach 0.85 (around 645 miles per hour). For trips shorter than 5,000 nautical miles, G650 can achieve a cruise speed of Mach 0.90 (around 685 mph) and has a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.925 (around 704 mph). Placing at Number 2, Gulfstream G650 was first introduced in 2008, with its powerful Rolls-Royce BR725 engines that can make it fly faster and farther than any traditional business aircraft.

Bombardier 7000 and 8000

Price: $65 million

Nailing the Number 1 spot in the most expensive business jets list is the Bombardier 7000 and 8000 which is being currently built and will be released in 2016 and 2017. The Bombardier 7000 will feature a one-of-a-kind four-zone cabin that offers endless possibilities to optimize either productivity or leisure. Able to accommodate up to ten passengers, Bombardier 7000 is specifically designed for 7,300 nautical miles range at Mach 0.85 with an unsurpassed Mach 0.90 high-speed cruise capability. On the other hand, Bombardier 8000 will accommodate up to eight passengers and also has a Mach 0.90 high-speed cruise capability. Its next-generation GE engines will deliver more efficiency with low fuel burn and low emissions.
